Element Arts latest – New Facebook and Ejector Seat Festival 2014
Hello everyone element arts has a new facebook page!
Please ‘like’ (and share) the new page for updates about what we are doing and to hear about our future projects.
After the success of ‘The Wool House Project’ ( see www.facebook.com/thewoolhouseproject and report on the project http://elementarts.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/WHP-full-report-for-website1.pdf), element arts decided to have a well-earned rest as we have had a lot of work to do in the background to establish and structure our organisation.
As the Wool House is now to be turned into a pub/brewery/restaurant, we are currently looking for new premises.
In the meantime we will be taking part in Ejector Seat Festival on 14th June ( www.ejectorseat.co.uk ), and will be updating our website(www.elementarts.co.uk) and this Facebook page with further information.
We have plans for more exciting arts and community projects and workshops in 2014, so keep watching this space…

So the Wool House has been open for two weekends now and response has been very positive.Local residents have called in to have a look and chat about what we’re doing and there have been plenty of people dropping in off the ferry or who are just passing, exploring Southampton. The comments book is filling with positivity and good wishes and there’s often a nice chatty buzz when there are groups in the building having a look.
We’re still making changes and adding to the project, so please continue following us on Facebook to keep up with events. www.facebook.com/thewoolhouseproject .
Exciting! Today there was hustle and bustle in the Wool House as artists were bringing their work in for the first exhibition an there was a lot of sawing and hammering and chattering.
